Instead, I have a dull, throbbing, soon to be sharp, excruciating pain.

How's your day?

Did they just pull them, or did they have to dig them out?

No clue. I was out. They werent impacted, and that makes all the difference in the world as far as lingering pain....

So are you saying that if they've already broken through the gums, it's supposed to hurt a lot more? I'm getting worried because I have one already halfway grown, and haven't been to the dentist in awhile.

Oh, i didnt understand you. Mine were FULLY grown in. Basically, the earlier you get them out, the less pain/complications. Because if wait until they've grown in, the roots are into the jawbone and sometimes they will grown in sideways and become impacted.

I was lucky considering all 4 of my wisdoms were fully grown in and none of them were impacted and came out with no problem.

I had one pulled because of a cavity and they wound up having to hit me with 10x the normal amount of novocaine and then had to break the tooth into several pieces to get it.

Then I got drysocket.

Long roots suck.
