They Crossed The Line

Vent ON:
I'm a patient man, not because patience is a virtue, but because I am realistic and give anyone the benefit of the doubt. But there is a thin line between patience and acceptence, and I can no longer cope, nor accept, and not even be patient that my requests for peace of mind will be honored.
There's a company who's spyware program (GATOR) has implemented itself into my system and jusy will not be gotten rid off. It gives you an option towards deletion, but you have to send an e-mail to the developer and they have not answered any of mine.
This thing just keep popping up, bugging the living **** out of me, and I've had enough of it. My patience has run out, the thin line has been descimated, I am angry. Truly angry. This **********er brings up the wierdest **** like AOL icons on my desktop, Viagra, new favorites in my IE list, and numerous others.
I find 10 new favorite links on IE every day, even after I delete them, as soon as I reboot, they're back up there. I found the core of the program, but it's "being used by another person or program" so I cannot delete it.
So, as a resolution, I will once again back up all of my data onto my USB HDD, restore my onbord drive including the partition, and buy 150 dollars of norton virus protection and ****.
Vent OFF:
You are reading text from a man who stands broken and dissapointed by the internet, and this is what he promises.
If it's the last thing I do, and with the last breath in my lungs, and the last comprehensive thought in my mind, I will do EVERYTHING in my power to rid the internet of spyware and adware. And in the process, I will dissolve America Online Inc.
The war is on you **********ers, casualties will be present, and I have nothing further to lose.

go to start..... then run....and type in msconfige.exe then you can turn it off so that it doesnt start-up when you turn the comp on, and that should do it. if not just have it only open systray and the other important one....forgot what it was called.

getting rid of it is easy, just delete the core files (from dos) then apply all the major OS patches. There are many ways it can get onto your computer if you arent up to date on OS and browser security patches.
