Wow, thanks for the serious pimpage Jerk_Racer. Yes, I have a habit of looking up my HTTP_REFERALLS on a regular basis...which led me here.

PHINSUP's numbers are a little off from reality, but a good guess if you haven't done it before.

A little background on me: Yes, I am the publisher of Driving Sports Magazine (we had one issue out previously as Northwest Auto Sports) and my first sports car finicky GSL-SE. However, I live in Kirkland, not Sammamish.

But back to magazines...Our upcoming January Issue of Driving Sports is a Rotary Special Edition, where we'll be looking at the RX-8, plus all three prior generations. We also have a bunch of rotary-specific tech content planned--so you guys should approve

As for a rotary-specific magazine? It takes a lot more to run a sustainable publication than just building and printing it, and subscriptions alone are unlikely to float anything of any useful size (pagecounts get a lot cheaper per unit as the overall quantities are increased) for very long (of course lots of startup cash can fix many ills).

I'm interested to see how this Rotary Tuner does. I'm sure someone else has a rotary-specific magazine in the works as well. Rarely do any good commercial ideas exist in a vacuum, and with the recent release of the RX-8 (and considering it's a decent car), now makes good sense.

Cheers,

Hey, no problem. It's a darn good magazine that's just getting started so some word of mouth sales have got to help. It's not like some juggernaut of a magazine such as SCC that is everywhere under the Sun. I'd like to see where it goes as it grows. But that'll only happen if people scoop them up.

Your location. I knew I might have been mistaken. But I think my co-worker (the one I was running off to go to lunch with when I met you) saw your test car (the one you showed me) near his house. He's a true blue, no use talking to, Ford fan. He has some Spidey senses when it comes to Fords so I guess he saw you driving around. I told him about the car at lunch and he did see you in it. Small world indeed.

Yea I have checked out your website in the past and of course my numbers were a bit inflated, better safe then sorry. I'll have to drop by the book store and get me a copy.

PS Welcome aboard
