Well a not so good update... she got it back today, I got it too, had to go to the DR, of course just what we needed $377.00 in drugs 8 days before insurance kicks in. The other DR didn't tell us that skin to skin contact could transmit it, or basically skin to wound contact which I was exposed to so the other DR was a quack.

Anyhow, should be cleared up by Fri or Sat.

Impetigo...I've heard of it. I don't think it's that uncommon, but it's contagious and spreads and looks yucky. Any good doctor should nail the diagnosis right off. Antibiotics should clear it right up.

Yea we went to a real DR. Let me tell you I am not happy with dr's in general this week. We both go to a very highly though of allergist, keep in mind the hospital didn't know what it was at first, didn't prescribe the right antibiotics and didn't tell us it was contagious. Anyhow, we call him, he says I want you in here now, my nurse is at lunch come back and knock on my office door, we head there, he explains to us that he needs to test mine (culture) because it is possible I got an staph infection that is resistant to normal antibiotics because I was in the hospital with Amy when I got min, he cultures them both (never happened at the hospital) wanted the dr's name and number because the prescriped the wrogn antibiotics, the **** they prescribed was $14.00 the **** he prescribed was $112.00 then he prescribes an ointment for our noses because he said you can't cure a staph infection unless you cure it at the nose as well cause it will live there forever and we'll keep re-infecting ourselves. Anyhow it was nice to a dr actually take the time to fix it, I called my kidney dr and she told me to go to a dermatologist, dermotologist told me to go to a clinic.

I am soooo sick of specialized dr's that don't want to actually be a dr, specialists damn well should know the rest of the body or they shouldn't be practicing medicine.

Thats totally ghey.

Specialists are overrated. they make you wait like an hour, see you for 5 minuts, tel you what you already know, then charge you a bazillon dollars.

I hope you guys get better soon.
