.

Only way owning is worth it if you drive a whole lot or you will drive the car into the ground.

yeah and on some cars (anythinhg german) you dont want to be holding the pink slip WHEN it breaks. dad had a 2001 audi a4, the dome light stopped working sometimes when you opened the passenger door, cost to fix? $2000.

now if I could save a few bucks whilst still driving reliable transportation, that would be a win.

Just fill the tires with run-flat foam or nitrogen!

slime is AWESOME, use it on all my ATV's never had a leak and i've had decent sized pieces of stuff get stuck in the tires. i dont reccommend any of that **** for cars tho, unbalances the tire (like having water in the tires) plus slowly deteriorates the rubber from the inside, and it sucks for the tech that has to dismout your tire and unknowingly unleashes a flood of nasty **** all over your shoes.
