So regardless that the RX-7 has a stiffer chassis, I should just admit that the 240, with its relatively un-stiff chassis is superior? I think I can tell wether or not a car handles well or not regardless of driver ability.

I'm sorry, but: RX-7 > 240sx forever.
ok see there's brand loyalty and then there's brand blindness, there are cars that are competition for rx7's, with a lot of the other cars actually being better.

i agree the fb is a good handling car (better then an fd in my opinion, i await the flames from you "fd is teh god" people)

kevin.

Take advice from me...I owned a 90 240sx, and I've driven a friend stcok FB many times.

My 240 had some decent springs on it (don't know what brand, but it handled much better than another friend's 91)

The stock FB would destroy the 240. The ka24(d)e is a piece of ****. **** what everyone else says about forged rods and crank. It's still a long stroke having, no power over 4500 having, POS. Even with the holy grail sr20det I still wasn't impressed.

The stock 240 interior leaves a lot to be desired. The seats are ****. The only thing I liked about the car is how the steering wheel was in relation to the gauge cluster.

IMO, the only cool 240 I've ever seen was powered by an RB25DETT, and ran low 11's on street tires.

Keep your FB and put the money into it. Please. You'll be much happier.

Either that, or trade me for my Starion.

well holy ****!!!! i drove the 240 and it has more torgue and hp but wieghs nealy a 1000 pounds more! but it is alot nicer of a car availibilty and price of parts... and a "floppy ****" frame stiffness is easaly fixed by strut tower bars and so forth, i think the ka24e is a better power plant then the 12a anyway, but i like the 240 it is is good shape handles great and has a good amount of responce and power for a stock car... you take the fb... well the car being old the shocks are most likly shot or not as they are suposed to be... the engine is pretty weak, all fb owners know this, after carb, exhaust, and ignision, it is not all that i was hoped it to be. i feal with the nissan as a stock car... better suspension, better engine"maybe", and better styling, it is 6 years newer but the car only has 82k miles on it. i am going to get it i have made up my mind but i am going to miss my little fb

and who are you?

you have a starion...and a neon

your opinion of the cars has no point as we are talking about suspension....

you say the 240 is a POS because the engine and seats...and thats why it handles bad

My accord handles better than my RX-7 does. I can take turns 10 mph faster in the accord than i can the 7. I take turns 5 mph slower in the 7 than i do the accord and i hear tire squeal and begin to feel oversteer.
