seriously, there is a high proportion of germans. no idea why. mr pilates was german, but thats a different thing!

Pilates has its basis in Yoga as well.

I've never been into the spiritual aspect of yoga. I really got serious about it after a car accident and the bone specialist was saying something about spinal fusion. I was 23 then and I'm 61 now. He's probably dead and I've still got my original spine.

I would imagine it would be sobering if every Californian would look at whatever stupid trend they're following as if they were twenty years older and looking back on what they did. Then they'd all feel like morons and stop being such tools. Yoga is fine, but all these wannabes make me want to puke. Lemmings have more individuality...

That's ridiculous, I can't believe you even said that. If a Californian did that then they wouldn't be a californian, they would be outcast, their drivers license taken away and they would be booted out at the border. Next thing you know you are going to suggest that they realize Arnold is merely an actor that plays the Terminator character and not the terminator. BLASPHEMY

Well if it's true, that explains a good bit of the popularity of yoga--who wouldn't want to listen to classical music and sniff farts?
