A friend of my family recently put his 300zx up for sale. My dad went to look at it today with the full intent of buying it because it had new tires, new clutch, and of course it was a TT. For the asking price of 9K, this was a damn good deal. The car has 90xxx miles on it.



So he goes to look at it and after driving it, talks to the owner a little bit. The guy just bought his son (who is not yet 16) a 6spd RSX Type S. He was commenting on how this new car was so much faster than the Z. At this statement, my father posed the question, WTF? As it turns out, the guy just got a Twin-Turbo sticker/decal whatever and put it on his car.



Unbelievable.



Needless to say, I have no 300zx TT in my driveway. My dad did mention picking up an FD as a project car since the Z plan went to the crapper...maybe something will materialize...

 

If the ZX were a turbo, was it going to you or ur dad? eh, either way the FD would much be nicer

 

We'd kinda be sharing it. It would be my car on the weekends (when I come home from college) and his when he wanted to drive it (he has a company car).

 

There's this guy that lives close to me who has a 300ZX TT he wants to sell for $9K. If I had the money, the n/a would be gone for the Z.

****...all my honda friends been telling me how fast their civic type-R/SiR's are now, after they threw on the badge...

 

No kidding, what a major let down huh? I was expecting a call from my dad with the phone near the engine bay so I could hear the turbos!

 

I thought the Type-R was'nt coming to the USA?
