Another interesting idea... Someone stuffed a 4.3 Liter GM Motor into a Suzuki Sidekick. Probably rear nose heavy... but what a runner.

There was a magazine that put a Camaro V6 into a tracker...they said it moved pretty well, but would bog down at 55-60 for some reason.
