[quote name='rotarychainsaw' date='Apr 13 2005, 06:51 PM'] I think the era of overproduced pop rock is coming to an end.

[quote name='rotarychainsaw' date='Apr 13 2005, 10:51 PM']Ahh, that first picture on their site scares me. At least he's just the drummer, doesnt look too dressed up and probably got a sweet kit from the label. They may get big, but I think the era of overproduced pop rock is coming to an end.

Actually he is sponsored by Orange County Drums and Pork Pie! Hardware is sponsored by DW. I cant hate on any band trying to make a living at playing music. So it is what it is. Be happy for someone or just keep it to your self.

I have no problem hating people who say there punk but are not even close to being punk. Who put out songs that have a cheesy pop tune and still call themselves punk. Who sing stuff to get people to like them and be popular and still call themselves punk. Punk is not about making money or making it big.

And what do well this class?

That's right. A "POSER".

I remember seeing Good Charlotte YEARS ago before they were even close to being popular. They sucked then, and well, they still suck.

You remember seeing them? **** I remember their sorry asses trying to play at all my buddies bands shows. StarBucket still owns Good Charolotte. They used to go to all those shows with Rikks brothers band and Starbucket, Unkies Monkel, World Wide Three and the rest of the Chuck county homos at the Comic book store.

Let's get one thing straight. Good Charlotte got big because they made it their job to play every ******* show they could. They are horrible live, shitty song writers and have a terrible sense of style. That is why someone somewhere convinced them they were "punk" becuase they used to wear vans, blue jeans and T shirts. Buncha momma boys.

I give them credit for being tenacious and taking it serious enough to make a career out of playing. I do however know for a fact that their music is crap and will slowly dwindle off just like many others, White Lion, Living Coulour, Hootie and the Blow fish.. eTC...

No I am about five years older than those guys. But in 1997 when I was 21 my buddies all played in bands and that is when Good Charlotte started out I guess. All teh bands around here played teh same lame *** shows. Wilmers Park etc.. I seen them alot at shows. Never watched. Never talk to them either..
