Well some of you may remember me getting married this time last year. Went away for a couple of days with my wife for our anniversary and the New Year celebrations, at the top of the North Island of NZ. Just thought I'd post a few pics since your all in the middle of winter.

We only have about 39 people per square mile, so that beach is packed.

Nice! What's all that stuff in the sand, branches and such?

I was just swimming at a beach in Panama City, Florida, last Saturday. Water was a little chilly, but not bad. I like it better than Summer, when the water is 85F or higher at the shore.

That stuff is just dried up seaweed.

Thought the guys in Florida would still have some pretty good weather. To be honest summer here has not been that great so far, been cold with lots of rain. The hottest period for us is late January through to early March, when everyones gone back to work.
