Were you awake when they pulled them. I was when I had one of mine pulled. He took what looked like an ice pick and punched it into the middle of my tooth breaking it. Then he took this big pair of plier looking things and grabbed it and pulled with all hi might. Freaked me out. Lots of blood for the rest of the day. Isn't it fun changing out the guaze??
ah that sounds painful

I thought you usually get wisdom teeth pulled in the younger years of your life, I know you're not that young... Mine grew in just fine

I had to get all four of mine cut out at the same time. All four were impacted. Put me to sleep with nitrous gas. I only remember bits and pieces of that whole day. Had the surgery at 8:00 AM, woke up for the first time at 5:00 PM that evening for about 30 minutes.

Got a dry socket later on. Whole situation was not the best.

Mine went quite well. I was eating solid food the next day. But the say I got them taken out, it was just like mazderati said. I remember taking the nitrous, feel REALLY good for about 2 seconds, and im gone. Kinda wake up when its done, walked out to the car, kinda wake up again to get out of the car at my house, make my way to the couch with some help, and Im out until morning. My procedure was at noon, I But I remember a total of about 10 minutes of that day... Then I spent the next week loaded up on vikadin.

Ouch, I hope you feel better soon. When I was 14 I had my wisdom teeth taken out as well as 4 other teeth pulled all at once. It was to make room for braces. It was no fun. I remember blood oozed from my wounds all night, and I couldn't eat solid foods for a week. Man, that was NO fun!

My wife had hers "extruded." They were supposed to give her an IV, and knock her out. After poking and prodding both hands and wrists with the fat IV needle, and leaving serious bruises and pain, they ended up just giving her a whole lot of shots in her mouth, and removing them with her awake. She was seriously distraught, and came home bauling her eyes out. That was not a pretty sight.

You should not drink alcohol it thins the blood and hinders clotting.

I have Vicodin too very nice stuff. The first night I took it I could actually feel the bones in my back cracking back into place as I finally rexaled completely for the first time in years. I felt like I was melting in to the mattress.

I can safely say being awake for it I witnessed something that was so disturbingly violent it freaked me out. I was numb so I did not feel it but could tell how hard he was pulling. From the moment he walked up to me till the moment he walked away with my tooth pulled was about 2 minutes no joking he just walked up and yanked it out.
