So I finally got everything back together on my car and took it out to tune it last night. Did a bunch of pulls and got it running perfect. Car feels stronger than it ever did before at the same boost level. I was running about 17 psi and the car was flying. We had a bunch of rx-7 guys meet up for some food and drinks. I went to give one guy a ride, and as I pulled out of the parking lot I noticed a silver Diablo VT parked my the McDonalds. The owner was nowhere to be seen. So I got on the highway and did some acceleration pulls. I then got a call on my cell that the Diablo owner was getting gas. I took the next u-turn and raced back to the gas station. I go to get gas as well, and pull up next to the Diablo. I find the owner, he looked pretty young. I chatted with him a bit and complimented him on the car. I asked if I could try and keep up with him. He gave me some stupid story about how the car wasn't running right and smoked black because it was too rich etc. I decided to leave it at that, though I was a bit dissapointed. I've raped a Diablo SV before anyway. We proceeded to the resturant. I can't want to get real kill on the new setup.
