I wouldn't get a b2600i to swap a rotary.. Id rather do a b2000-2200 since you would pay more for a b2600i..

I was looking for a B-2600i at first, but they are hard to find. The B-2600 brings a turbo II gearbox from factory bolted to a piston engine. All that needs to be done is a very easy bell housing swap. I had a 1988 B2200 black truck before with a factory 1988 turbo II ecu and engine, running some very low boost (9psi) that truck was totally awesome. Ran 12.48@110mph on street tires with no traction. the truck tip the scale at 3000lbs with the driver in it.. But man this Mazda pick ups with a Rotary Turbo is the way to go..

Thats why I love my Repu, the only reason I never considered doin the swap on a newer B-series is cause the cops hassle you like hell out here.. and the Repu is almost exempt from those laws.. so it is better, thats why I would like to stick a turbo on the B2600i, since it would be easier to remove when it was time to pass smog every 2 years..
