Went to a concert in orlando at the hard rock cafe, john hiatt, odds are most won't know him here.
didnt like his new band, definetely miss sonny landreth, but such is life.
Pretty nice venue, was my first visit to Universal City walk, i forget living in a non tourist area that there are white folks that pale. It is also still a shock when i can take my hard liquor drink to my seat in a concert. Washington sucks, you cant have hard liquor and you gotta drink yer beer in a corral a mile away from the stage cause you might get carried away and have fun. Drinks were rediculously stiff by the way, no complaints even at $8.00 a 16 oz drink.
good show, man i am going to be driving a lot this week, friday to 240 miles for an MROP class, saturday to tampa to do some shizzle on the boat... wut fun

Thank God the tiki bar was open, huh?? Hehehe.,,,,BB
I get the same kind of looks when I mention Tom Waits or John Prine. Good music has not been on the radio for at least 20 years. Teeny bopper and Rap killed radio....

Yea i was actually thinking about the last night, seems we're coming to an end of an era... you know one where "musicians" could play an instrument or 5 and actually compose their own songs. There's few people to replace even the big names. Not sure how we ended up where we are musically i dunno if it's the fact that u didnt used to be able to make mega millions cutting an album and getting radio play or what.
