ok i started working at mazda today so they teamed me up with some young guy so that i could get the hang of the shop. anyway to the good stuff the service manager knew i liked working on rotaries so he teamed me up with this guy to do a engine swap on a rx8 i was so happy it was ******* awsome i got to work on a rotary all day long. and the service manger said that i could have probly done it by myself (witch i could of) any way we did the swap a weird way we dorpped the engine and trans down with the whole subframe, control arms, and every thing execpt the struts. has any one ever done it this way? it ras relitivly easy. so we swapped ever thing from the old engine (witch was perfectly fine it just happend to flood a few times) then mounted every thing back to the subframe and put it all back together. and it was ******* awsome it was like i was working at home on my 7 but every thing was cleaner and i had a lift and power tools so it was probly the best first day ever but next week ill probly get suck doing tires and oil changes but i dont mind i cant wait to see what they have me do tomorrow
