that sucks. atleast you had fun doing it. glad to hear there isn't too much damage. I remember first time I drove my GXL in the rain (drove it home off the lot with bald tires and it started raining) rear end broke loose and I almost smaked into a Gasoline truck makeing a left turn. scared the **** outta me, I creeped to the closest tire shop and got tires put on right then.

understeer will make you crash faster than oversteer...atleast you can correct yourself with oversteer...understeer you just kinda have to hold on...sorry to hear it man.

Even though it sucked putting my car in a ditch, I had a blast the entire time. Am I neurotic?

Neurotic? Hell, no! You're insane!

Unless your goal is to play demolition derby with your pride and joy, slow the hell down in the rain! Most people don't realize how little traction most car/tire combos have in the wet, and when you increase the speed, your tires aren't even touching the road--they ride on a layer of water. Good luck trying to turn. You'll be skating.

I think you are right. I get depressed and risk my pride and joy like any junky needing a fix. That is insane. And it was fun! I keep thinking of how I got it into the slide and how I should have waited a second later to put down the power instead of mashing the gas right when I let off the brake.

Thanks for all the support.

No problem. You are the man, dude!

Your car is still cool. I just love it so much because I remember when it was red and had acid wash all over it. And the watching you build the engine and such. It really became something gorgeous, and still is.
