WTF is the little drawing on the top right corner? Extra power port?

Just wondering but, .....Who cares?

So what. Everyone has their right to their own opinion. Let him say whatever he wants. I still think it is a ricer magazine.

The way I understand it : A 3 liter v6 only displaces 1.5 liters. The way they measure displacement : They Measure Bottom dead center (BDC) To top dead center (tdc), thats the height. Then the diameter of the cylinder. Then Diameter* pi=circumference. Circ.*height=volume. Thats the volume for one cyl. Times it by the # of cylinders and that is the engine size.

If a 1 cylinder engine was being measured like this it would be accurate, BUT not in multicylinder engines.

Example: 4 cyl engine. 2 cyls are TDC and 2 are BDC so only the 2 that are BDC are actually displaceing anything.

Tell me if you get what I'm saying. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

If anyone else wants to hear my theory ask and I'll try again.

You want to measure the AREA of the bore, not the circumference. pi * DIA * DIA / 4 = AREA * STROKE * NUMBER OF CYLINDERS = volume displacement

STROKE = distance from BDC to TDC
