they showed a guy and his prelude on the dyno and he was hoping for 190..after they were done he had 150..then he said after $80,000 i was hoping to get more than that. now he did not have many mods on teh car at all..so my question isdoes anybody believe he spent $80,000 on it? i sure don't

On what show?

I once saw an S2000 that had at least 100k under the hood of the car.

I saw the show where they turned the S13 into a drift car. They put an SR20 into it (didn't show or explain any of the swap), put coilovers on it (didn't say what kind or anything about spring rates), and put a JDM aftermarket (WTF?) wide-body kit and huge wing on it. Whooptie-do. They didn't even show anyone driving it at the end of the show.

Seppuku was telling me about how they ordered a kit for a s13 and got the kit half on and were puzzled when they noticed the headlights were different.
