OK a guy named muzrinkl signed up, then had his spambot PM EVERYONE on the board. I've installed a flood control on the PM's which should eliminate this issue in the future. Just delete the PM and don't follow any of the links.

I notice we're getting a few DVD software SPAM threads lately. Seems like I have to shitcan at least one every morning, except this morning, someone beat me to it!

 

I banned the ip those were coming from, so hopefully we will be done with those. I need to show you guys how to remove posting privs so they can't continue to just create them.

most of the spammers do one post and never come back, i banned a few and put a few into moderater preview- no one ever comes up in preview so i just assume they never come back to post again anyhow
