You know if they hyped the **** up like they used to and gave us an idea what the **** they were doing and accomplishing I'd prolly give a ****. But i haven't seen or heard of nasa doing anything but spend money in last 10 years.

Like i said, they need to hype that ****, the most watched event in television history was the moon landing. Now a days you don't hear **** about nasa. I don't doubt they are "doing" ****, but if you want the people behind ya you gotta hype, fly over the super bowl with that ****, drop some candy you cooked up in th space lab. marketing, thats what nasa needs.

I agree, the last highly publicized event that NASA had was the X-43a launch and that was almost four years ago. NASA has continued to have great research and new discoveries, however the media doesn't seem to be too concerned with it. Aside from Aeronautic magazines, journals, newsletters, and from viewing NASA's website I wouldn't have a clue about what was going on. It's a shame considering the discoveries they've made concerning spinning neutron stars, or Pulsars are testing the ideas previously put forth regarding dark matter. It's really cool stuff. Just not that many people in the general public are interested. Although if the discoveries were made out in more layman's terms I'm sure it would spark interest if it was publicized better.

"Hey Harry.."
"Yeah.."
"You know we are sitting on 4 million pounds of fuel, 1 nuclear weapon, and a thing that has 270,000 moving parts built by the lowest bidder....makes you feel good, doesn't it?"
"Yeah.."
