Meh. Made the call and told the Legacy owner I was going to look elsewhere.
Picking up a 90 Accord with 86k miles and a new paintjob on Thursday. Black EX (power everything) auto sedan. Not bad for a beater. Blah.

i have a 91 legacy beater car. it never breaks, starts all the time, no problems, just goes and keeps going. other people i know with subarus have had good luck also. i think they are a pretty reliable car, at least as good as other companies if not better.ive never heard of too many subarus failing.....

impreza owners don't beat the sh*t out of their cars by modding or racing cause they know they are slow
wrx owners try to be cool and mod the sh*t out of them, and end up breaking them

I love the way the engine is in them. Boxer style engines are great, consdiering you have no gravitational pull/push on the pistons.

no it cancels it out.
have you ever stood up and then fallen over? and then laid down and tried to fall over again? You can't because your body is horizontal which in turn cancels and has no gravitational motion. When you stand straight up and down however gravity begins to effect you.

when you fall over, what holds you to the ground? you claim that "your body is horizontal which in turn cancels and has no gravitational motion." what is the force that exerts against your body, keeping you from levitating?
in a block, with a piston travelling horizontally, there is the effect of gravity. stick your arm out, and tell me gravity doesn't affect it. the weight of the piston still exerts a gravitational pull.

how the **** are you going to lay down and then fall again? If there wasn't a ground stoping you, if you layed down would you fall forever? Yea because theres gravational pull just like russell said.
