Had my 7 parked up in and empty lot near my friends place last night. Came out and a guy approached asking if it was mine. Told him it was and he gave me the plates of a Transit van that backed into it.

Luckily damage isn't too bad (bumped into me between licence plate and left reverse light) and nothing broken. Took it to a guy I know who has done work for me before and said he'll fix it up (plus anything else that needs to be done) free of charge.

Anyways got the drivers name and address from his plates, and I'm going to go pay him a visit in a half hour to see if I can get me some cash.

The alternative being I report it to the police and make a claim through insurance and he can get raped in court. His choice really.

Should be fun.

You should just **** with him. I would not ask for any money, that just seems silly to me. **** happens, and no damage was done to your car.

Sorry but damage was done, just not alot. Plus someone I know is going out of there way to help me out for nothing. I'm ******* with this guy by asking him to pay for something that he has caused which I would have had to fork out for myself. There's no reason why he shouldn't pay even if I don't have too.

Oh and remember he left...just fucked off - this is why he must pay. Lucky for me someone saw him.

I'd send the cops to his place and let them deal with him. I've had to do it before in a similar situation, works wonders.
