jeremy glick, one of the men and women who took it upon themselves to sacrifice their lives to stop United's Flight 93 from taking any other lives than their flights, was, not my friend, but a close aquantance...

he graduated from my high school 10 years or so ago, and would often frequent and hang out there as he was friends with many of the staff members..... he was the coolest guy, and will still be missed a lot

at a party in UDel, my friend and i were involved in a discussion wehre 9/11 came up, and a guy who thought he was "better than the system" decided to add in the fact that "you know how many people enlisted after 9/11 , america did all that on their own, they set the planes into the towers in order to get a war in iraq and get people to enlist"

my friend stood up and broke the kids jaw about a flash second after he ended that statement.... he was sent to the hospital with a broken and dislocated jaw.

i knew 6 people who were in tower 2 and 1 in tower 1, 1 person on flight 93. the blow was traumatic ....

people who talk like they are better than everyone and they have no reason to help and that "i would like to see them suckers get me to fight".... those people have no respect from me.... yet i will be proud to protect their lives and freedom

Tear jerker indeed... And I'm not in the least bit embaressed to say I cried watching that last video. I'm speechless...

"Did you think you would bring us to our knees? You Didn't." AMEN!

God bless America! I would be proud to fight for this country.

On a side note: My dad told me a story about a soldier stationed in France and a few jerks living over there. Goes like this:

A soldier stationed in Paris is walking around the streets in uniform. A couple Frenchmen aproach him and ask him in a cocky manner; "Why is it that everyone has to learn English?" He contemplates his reply shortly and says to them simply; "I don't know why you're complaining... If we didn't save your *** in World War 2 you'd be speaking German."

im glad we have infantry men that are willing to run into a field and get shot for no significant reason. I myself.. will only do that on a paintball field.

military isnt my bag.. i grew up with a military family, my step father left yesterday to california where then he will go straight to iraq for over a year. But yeah.. anyways, just tossing in my word before it gets closed or something.

I am not sure of the final counts, but I know there were a lot of different nationalities in both the buildings. This was an attack on the american soil, but it was also an attack on the world. Imagine if the other target had been the united nations building....

Whether you are american or not, this was a wake up call, places other than the north american continent go through terrorist attacks on a daily basis, just look at the unrest on the gaza strip, imagine if the Sydney theater had been hit, or the forbidden city in china, or any number of other targets in the world, the attack was to put fear into americans, which it did, but it woke up the world. Sad thing to do, but even the US is vulnerable.

True True. But who's next. We've received threats about blowing up our Sydney Habour Bridge, Opera House and the Parliament House in Canberra. Canberra only got 370,000 people and is 34miles long and 14 miles wide.
