Umm no?

I don't know EVERYTHING about them, which is why its interesting and I asked about their comment after firing.

It's disputable, their faith/belief's, only in the same regard that the Bible can be interpreted one of several ways. The issue is a case of what they believe, and how they believe, people become/are the enemy.

The main difference is what my God and Allah teach as to what you should do when you find someone who isn't of your faith. Among the numerous other things...

That is why human interpretation of "God" is fatally flawed. The audacity of mere mortals to actually create a sub-version of what can only be one true God. All the different religions creating a seperate vision of "God" to suit thier own petty beliefs practices and interpreted truths.

If an individual simply believes and has faith in that belief, that alone should solidify the religion aspect of anyone's life, picking a specifc religion and following those religion's practices alone should condem that person to eternal damnation, this talk of my god, your god, his god is utter nonsense, I mean really, who do we think we are?

Your point is understood, and I can't say the idea hasn't passed through my mind.

But I feel, rather, I've come to know that the idea of "creating" a "sub-version" of the only true God is beyond that understanding in and of itself.

A large part of it deals with the Absolute Truth issue, as well.

The idea of religion is somewhat separated from the Truth God intended. Sure, he wanted the "Church", but the Church is made up of His people, not a physical building or a set of enforced traditions.

I'll leave it at that, but if you do enough research you'll find the parrallels, differences, and sort of see the "Map-out" of how such a "variety" of religions came about.

The truth......is out there....*dun dun dun

To make light of a few things, who on this rock we call Earth really knows the Absolute Truth? and where can we find it, them, him, her, etc.?

I have heard the bedtime stories that we will all know when we leave this place, and that the questions that we have will simply fall away, somehow becoming un-imminent and rather foolish in retrospect, simultaneously answering the age old question of WHY...but that to seems sugar coated and, to say the least, far fetched.

Sometimes I even entertain the idea that death IS the answer, not prematurely of course, but why else would it be saved for last?
