It's a scam , I saw the news(Fox 5) the other day and it had something about these types of scams that are happening now.

I'd LOVE to watch the guy get caught in the act.



Posing the price drop because his daughter's having kidney surgery? How low can you go?



Can't we trace calls/IP's etc to however these contacts or accounts were made? Aren't we doing that sort of tracing for Terrorist defense?

they do trace the IP but it goes back to a library or school or something like that.

Like, you know, pull them aside and pretend to be their attorney when they are headed for the slammer:



Be like "Okay, I can get you out, but I'll need you to forward some Ca$$H through my escrow acct. I will do my work from Florida, but send the money to my acct. in London."

Sounds like a scam to me. I would never be that desperate to have a car shipped halfway across the world for 9k.
