I will agree though, its probably the best shooter ive played on a console since golden eye 64. The game is insanely good. Just too short.

I like playing online games, its just that the past few years Ive slowed down immensely as far as gaming is concerned. That used to engulf my life pretty much ... from counterstrike, to tribes, to 10six, to wow, to yadda yadda ... the list goes FAR.
I used to play motoGP and PGR2 online all the time... I thought those were fun to play with the xbox online. *shrug*

Yea i decided i don't like gears of war, the graphics are cool, but it's just not my style, i like rainbow six vegas much more. The online play of GOW anoys the **** out of me, i'm running around shooting the **** out of people only to find out you gotta chop them up too LOL Anyhow I'll stick to the more true to life shooters, what can i say.

My brother bought GOW this weekend for my xbox, I like it a lot so far, we did some co-op playing. On this HDTV the graphics are amazing. Online play is so-so, it's very fast-paced. I'm used to Call of Duty, where one match can take upwards of 30 minutes. In GOW, I've had matches that last about 30 seconds. Online maps are sort of small.
I've also been playing Call of Duty 3, which is amazing. I'm pissed off about the online play though, it's got problems. I've been reading on the xbox forums, some folks have had good sucess by creating a static IP and doing port forwarding, but all that **** is Greek to me. I've found some info online, but I still can't quite get it to work. So I guess I'm SOL until I can find someone to do it for me.

went to FL last weekend and played GOW for about 3 nights straight. im not a FPS person and my cousin pretty much only plays zelda...anyway we thought it was really good. loved the wireless remotes!!!!
