That auction was incredible, if any of you have the chance to check out Barrett-Jackson in Scottdale next year, by all means, treat yourself! The caliber and condition of the cars is hands down the best in the world, closely followed by the rush of having your car(s) on the block.

I was on the stage when that ugly Olds concept sold for three million, talk about electric, the whole tent shook during that battle. An interesting piece of that story that wasn't shown on air was the 15 seconds or so as the car came rolling to the block, when the buyer for the museum told the mob on stage "Don't try to bid against me, I have more money than all of you, and I am buying this car" or the 15 seconds as the car rolled away when the seller said "I only intended on getting 500,000 for it!"

I watched it on the speed channel, but didn't see you. There was a ford crown vic that sold for like 60k

You gotta check out the topics and see what I bought while you were gone.

You coming to the retreat?

Did you buy anything or just sell? Did you get hookers?

I'm surprised you didn't see me, I was either on stage, in the bidders bar gulping down the free drinks, or in between the two for all five days!

It's not looking good for the retreat, we are hitting three auctions in the next 8 weeks, and we only have two cars in the shop, two more are being shipped from Arizona, which leaves us needing three more cars to fill the lot numbers we have already paid for. At this point I'm setting my sights on a cross country drive in the RX-7 to Rotorfest this summer, providing the event is going to happen, that is.

And yes I got hookers, gobs of them, along with a rub and tug at the local massage parlor. The women in Arizona are outstanding, I wore myself out on the freebie's, but sometimes you just want a pro without all the other bullshit
