Hey was probably just a **** nut... you should have raced him.

I find most 3rd gen owners i run into are idiots or snobs. Reminds me of mustang owners.

Of course this discludes anyone on the forum

its funny though, cause all the 3rd gens ive run into on the street that are all cocky and wont even give a wave, i've always beat on pretty bad racing makes me feel good. lol

but yeah, jerks like that are dumb. I would have just walked away after him acting like that.

jackass... were you in one of the CYM's or just a "regular" car? I've noticed that that usually makes people react differently too

I always honk and/or wave when I spot another RX-7, regardless of year... kind of funny some of the reactions you get

i always try to wave or flash my lights at all other 7's and 8's but 99% of the time i don't get a response. gets disappointing after a while. i wish i had more 7 owners to hang out with. there are a few in town that i know but they're usually busy. i may not be the most knowledgable rotorhead but i'm sure i'm one of the friendliest, LOL! EVERYBODY MOVE TO MY TOWN..NOW!

here's a nice shot i got of an 8 as i was passing her...she thought i was some sort of freak stalking her (i could tell by her face she didn't know of the relationship between my 7 and her 8)

When I see a seven I'm so excited, I always wave like you all do, but hardly ever get a response.

Except for the guy I met at a local shop...he drives an NSX also...He dyno'd like 310 or something like that on the stock twins. We chatted, nice guy...

I wave at all 7 owners I see..

I have been "shunned" many times.. One time I saw the same guy twice, and I spoke to him after.. he said "It took me a while to click in you were waving at me because we both own RX7s"

And onetime in Brantford I saw an immaculate FD turning left while I was stopped on the other side of the road, so I honked and I was thinking "Hah I bet he won't even wave.. Cause I'm in a 'lowly FC'.."

But he stuck his whole head out the window and waved with a big goofy grin on his face.. lol..
