if you are referring to us marine corps sniper rifles, then yes you can get m40a3 for about 7,000, you could do an sr25, which is very similar to the rifle above chambered in .308 dpms makes an lr308 which is basically the sr25 (308 on ar frame). next up would be the springfield M25, i have seen them for around 3,000 on a fairly regular basis. of course if you were going to spend that kind of cash i would go for something in the bmg 50 caliber line...

Not exactly for the cheap or squeemish these rifles. I definately need a new line of work.

What about marine rifles, as in constructed of materials that will give good service with exposure to salt water?
Lots of stainless and aluminum in guns anyhow, but i keep them well oiled and I store all my guns in waterproof Pelican containers. My xds lay out in the open on the boat and not one sign of corrosion.
