Don't they give you a new one if it breaks? I'm pretty sure they do with all snap on tools.

if the part thats broke can be replaced they will just give u the part like the head of this breaker bar they give u a enw head and u put it on your existing shaft no point in giving u the full thing if its just 1 part thats broke same as the warrenty on a car if ur frotn strut goes u dotn get a full new car u get a enw strut on the snap on ratchets they provifde full internals also whitch is good fin to replace lol

your snap-on dealer is a *****, they should fix it on there truck and not just give you the part to fix and leave you fending for yourself, hell they make enuff money off all of us who buy there tools they should fix them.

i have never had any tool dealer not fix a tool before of the 4 differnt tool guys i use.

J/K Yonner.... well, a just a lil.

Hell, even with craftsman, they replace the whole tool if you **** up one part of it. Can you drive the pin in with a hammer and punch?

agreed, you paid for snap on quality and snap on service. If this is the new snap on policy you might as well get sears craftsman stuff.

about the sears crasftman thing, I recently complained that my 3/8 drive rachet was skipping. The "NEW" crasftman policy is they give you the new guts (gears and such) and you fix it yourself. The shitty part is I had to spend even more money because I didn't have a snap ring plier to open up the rachet. That is BS in my opinion. I complained and it fell on deaf ears.

If I had the coin I would be using SK or MAC

same here! using snap-on tools all day at school makes me not want to buy them...flame on, but a hand tool is a ******* hand tool. scan tools etc are another story. also, at least on my FD most of the time i have to use another socket becuaes snap-ons are so thick that i can get it into anything.

My rotorhead friend has Snap On tools and I don't like them very much. I prefer my no-name stuff and Craftsman tools. Either it's because I've developed a better feel for them, or they are simply better than Snap On.

I prefer snap-on, at least the snap-on tools from oh 10 years ago (damn I'm old) as they were the only thing that wouldn't break when working on 400 Cummins.
