do I call smoking, drinking, *******, sucking, or religion a weakness... no, the weak person is the one that says, "Man I sure would like to give up drinking" Or I want to quit I just can't. The strong person is the one that sees it through, right to the grave. AA and Rehab is for fuggin quiters, losers and people that can't commit!

 

Also when you ask a blanket question like "why do people smoke" the answer to the question is impossible, i can't give you a reason for each person, but I also don't see how you can say someone is weak or stupid, it's BS the point I refer back to is, who draws this imaginary line of excess that you keep mentioning? I just don't get it, do I honestly think you are weak for joining a religion, no I am sure you have your reasons and my opinion of you is not effected by your religion, your race, your sexual preference, but by your actions. I would certain;y not befiend someone because i don't aree with their views, thats BS and yet without knowing the person that we are speaking of they are "stupid" or "weak" because they smoke.

 

Way too deep? Yes, most people are very offended when people disagree with their opinions, but I could just as easily say that dumping money into your car is a waste of money too. It's all an opinion, some people spend their money on hookers, some people spend it on their car, what is a "waste of money" something that you get absolutely no return from? So you choose that for everyone else they get no return from a drink, from a smoke, from a role in the hay with a hooker?



This country seems to be over ran with social acceptance and what is right for MUST be right for me type of attitude. You can't choose what someone enjoys, you can't choose what someone dislikes.



Anyhow, what was your simple answer? people smoke because it's a waste of money, boy you hit that one on the head, I can't argue that, I went way too deep and you didn't even touch on the subject.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.



Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
