Yeah the body style we had in North America as the 240SX coupe was not available in Japan - its the 180SX front on a Silvia. Hence the name one-via for the Japanese custom version. Just like a Sileighty except the other way round.

Hey, that's not at Jomo's

rbrtech, do you have any pics of Hugh's taillights? His site (zeroyon.com) is not all the way up and running yet.

180SX guys want the Silvia front ends so it's easier to find 180SX fronts for Silvias. I bet if you had a Silvia and wanted a 180SX front end, you could come out of a trade with a 180SX owner and make some extra cash in the process.

mike:

Silvia front + one eighty sx rear = Sil-eighty (silvia in front, 180 in rear)

one eighty front + Silvia rear = One-Via (180 in front - silvia in rear)

so the one in the pic is a "one-via" it's a Silvia, but a 180sx front has been put on, and some fc taillights.

now from what he says the american version of a "one-via" was OUR 240sx. The japanese didn't get "our" 240sx, so they custom make their own, aka the "One-Via"

anywho, the second pic of that car looks badass!

Thanks. Damn, the Hobby Shop is looking good these days. The place they had before that garage was some old tin sided shed.

Apex13B - we all modify our cars. Some do it more than others. Some do it in other directions. It's all good. The black 180SX with the Supra lights that FDokinawa posted isn't one to be messed with one the streets. I guess he wanted something pretty to look at for all those that he leaves behind in his dust. Hugh's a nice guy like that.
