I do the same thing. Actually that's how I drove all the way to the BBQ and back. Never heard of it being illegal before.

I don't think driving in flip flops is that hard.
There were a couple reasons why the 3 of us brought fuel with us. Number 1 was because there was a possibilty of a fuel shortage due to hurricane refugees heading our way. Number 2 was because we drive hard and like to have a higher octane, especially with this OK 91. Number 3 for me was because yes I like to save a few bucks if I can get away with it. The other guys brought C16 along.

Yea, when I wear mine I do that too, I kick them off and sit em right in front of the drivers seat.
Several people reacted the same way about the Illegal stuff...oh well...

Barefoot driving is illegal in Louisiana, too. Supposedly has something to do with if you were in an accident and you have to get out of the car quickly then you may cut your feet up. Sounds like BS to me.
