Found an 88 chevy pickup with a 350. It runs and body is straight, interior has a little wear. Overall it seems ok for a beater and parts hauler.. a harley guy has it so front fenders have hot rod style flames down the side( as tasteful as flames could be on it). Only strange thing is it has a step side bed styled like its from a 70s pickup and wood plank floor so obviously some rust in there. Hes asking 600 but im sure i could give him 450 cash. Do i want to?

If you have to ask, you should just give me the $450.

Older gas-guzzling beater trucks are parked for sale along the road every mile or two here in Richmond. People can't afford to drive 'em any more. If you really need a truck, you shouldn't have much trouble finding what you want for not much money.

sounds cool for $450, IF YOU NEED A TRUCK, not because you think it will be cool to drive one- because it aint cool to drive one, it gets old fast.

I want to drop a few hundred bucks on a utility/fun-in-the-woods truck. Something to tow crap with (I have a trailer, but nothing to tow it with!), etc. Just not for daily driving. I would bite on that!

You should buy it, then convert it to run on natural gas.
