I had to get a new picture taken for my id last week. I walked in saw the place was crowded took my ticket walked outside to get some air. I turned around went back in and they were on 2 tickets after me.

I think it only took a total of 10 miutes to take my ticket get my picture taken and get my new id.

Even on a slow day, the people at DMV are not going to get you on your way quickly. They move slow, they think slow, they are slow. Government workers at their worst. Oh, wait! I forgot about congress.

Our DMV is pretty fast. Took me an hour to wait in line, take the written exam, and get picture taken, and license printed out. I was impressed. And I had to get a license because I moved, not "other" reasons!

I've never waited more than 5 minutes. How many offices do you guys have? I think we've got 5 or so in a city of 340,000.
