Anyone here ever shipped an FD headliner? I'm trying to send it out to a customer and have it all boxed up flat. The (hot!) clerk at the UPS store quoted me $100 ground! Fed Ex told me it would come out to $400 (that's right $400!).

I don't want to fold it as it will leave a crease. Anyone have any advice for me? I'm stuck.

Thanks.

Vic

Sorry I can't help with the shipping.. Although one time I shipped a bodykit from MBE and they sent it via some freight truck, was like $35 to ship.

The headliner is pretty stiff and rolling it up may cause creases. Hell, if the buyer wouldn't mind, I would've rolled that sucker up a long time ago. Plus I'm sure the creases won't be permanent.

Anyone who has shipped a headliner want to chime in?

I forgot to add the obligatory request for a pic of the clerk.

Well the damn thing only weighed 8.8 lbs and the lovely, nice breasted clerk told me that it was the size of the box that made it so expensive.
