Well ,

we had a small club meet. As usual 5 cars are in rebuild including mine ...again.Many members are still living through out the country and are not back yet. We had a poker run style ride on the twisty bayous of south LA.

However it turned out to be a lot of fun.

I try to get the guys away from the "other place" but habit is sometimes hard.

And you know I wore "our colors"!

Thanks Turbomark7 for hosting! Oh the yellow vette is the "President of the club" so dont yell at me!

Recently sold my Single turbo after having to replace motor for the 3rd time in 6 years. It was just time to move on. Anyhow, the Z06 is fast as ***** and reliable out the box bone stock.

Going to enjoy stock 405bhp for now. Within the year plan on doing cam/heads/headers/intake which should easily put me at 430rwhp.

so cams/heads/headers/intake and probably exhaust is like cheaper then rebuilding a motor every 2 years? a motor which you can easily rebuild yourself with some elbow grease?

meh, im just not a vette fan dont mind me.

**** you ...next to the van .

Guys I will stand up for the vette owner. He started the club, host the site, organize the dyno sets and meetings for years. He has spent tons of money on upgrades and motors only to have continued problems. I have had my car since 97 and have drivin it only three years.(Every shop has been the same). So for the years of service I dont care what he decides to do. If my **** breaks again on start up I may get something else .It will hurt though.

Well said l8tapex Guys I've put in more $$ than you can imagine into my FD in the 6 years that I owned her and in return only able to drive it less than 50% of the time that I had that focker. ........well I'm sure some can relate. I love the rotaries so damn much and that is clear as I cannot leave my Rotary Peeps. Besides, you gotta be out of your skull not to give the Z06 props for being a proven track/street monster. Even though my heart is with the rotary, I respect ALL sports cars as I'm a true sports car enthusiast. Don't have time for the haters man.

The Z also shares/stole some of the lines of the FD. Double bubble roof and very similar front nose/hood.
