Like I say, it isn't fixed, the NIC is just flakey. Sometimes I get no packet loss, sometimes 10%-50%.



They have tested the connection to the switch and determined it to be the NIC. Luckily I knew something was up before I left, so I turned in the ticket and got them started, it just got much worse and they were awaiting my authorization to take the server offline and replace it.

LOL I was "promised" that it would be done by morning. It should have been done this morning, but i was not here to auhorize the ticket... just one of those things, but I am back now and we are making progress. It is being nice to us right now, but it's just setting us up LOL

LOL yea you know I bitched them out one time about an issue I had with one of the other servers... it was a bad call. Was like 14 hours later when they finally fixed it. It's a carefull balance, I have to keep on them, but not get too annoying. They were pretty cool when the memory puked on the serer that nopistons is on, they had it fixed within an hour. Most of you guys didn't even notice.
