Send all complaints and concerns to 1988RedT2 while I'm gone, in fact send them to him when i get back too.

I'll have internets in a few days (or tonight if I end up stopping at Lake Worth).

Don't **** all over the place.

Well that went well, lost my new chair and a diesel can, here's the situation, pull out of the marina with a great forcast, notice some crap weather ahead, but we gotta fuel up so i am hoping we beat it to the fuel dock. Marking about 14 knots of wind from the southeast as we head along, right before I go under the bridge the wind shifts 90 degrees, this makes me a little nervous, but i figure maybe something to do with the bridge, let's head in, I go through the first markers and head for the second set, look at the windspeed and I am marking 55 knots (that's about 65 mph) and it's coming right over the beam. No way in hell i'm docking in 55 knot winds, now I've got to turn around in a narrow channel, we're on a good 45 degree heel and make the turn, we get out of the channel and head north ahead of the storm and get an anchor set to wait it out..... we'll restart the trip tomorrow.

Oh it blew all my canvas out, ripped the zippers right out and my brand new chair that had never been sat in flew off like an airplane.

yea would have been fine if i was 20 miles off shore, I could have flipped her downwind, but in a tight spot like that 55 knot wind is nothing to laugh at.
