i dunno i've done it as long as ive been posting on message boards anywhere.

i think i started doing it when i used newsgroups way back in the day cause eveyrthing gets jumbled around and signing with your real name (i dont sign with screen name, that to me is weird) let people know who said what. using the period at the end is simply for emphasis lol.

I understand SIGNING a post... But it looks funny when, say, I sign with 9BASE3 instead of Justin...

I wasn't trying to insult anyone LOL

I just saw some guy on another forum 1st post, of course, sign with his screenname like it was his real name.. Don't mind me, been a long week.......
