yea i wonder about the tests, having set through a couple hurricanes i can honestly say I've never really seen any flying projectiles, espeically pointy 2x4's. but then again I've never seen any of the people who don't board up with windows blown out.



Most of the damage comes when you wave goodbye to your roof and I don't know, with the exception of hurricane clips if much has changed in that area over the past two years.

theres 2 ways to go about that.



1. **** it, the forces are too big, let the roof pop off and not damage the rest of the house



2. build a tank

yea except when you lose your roof the whole house is ruined.

thats cause yer building it wrong! you could build it so the roof pops off in a stiff breeze and doesnt damage anything else

build a big reinforced concrete sphere, half submerged, and live in it!

that way, even if it does get uprooted, it'll just roll around crushing stuff
