Sars-stock A Bust!

My buddy had to work, but got out way early. So we headed out as the show was starting. Got there and there must have been 70,000 people waiting to get in the gate we went to. Took an hour to get in.
Get within hearing (barely) of the stage in time for the Tea Party (who sucked). Stayed for their set and part of the Flaming Lips and we left. My buddy was already wasted from the heat (she's a wimp! ) We worked our way into the crowd to the first security cordon, I think there were still at least 250,000 people in front of us. My friend looked like she was going to pass out and we could barely hear and could only watch the video screens.
I would have stayed if she didn't look like death, so we left. Went to see League of Extrodinary Gentleman and T3 instead.
Looked like a hell of a show, I've never seen so many people in my life! (Neither have you ) 450,000 peple all in one place. The back of the crowd was so far away they didn't have the audio towers out far enough. Saw some of AC/DC and the Stones on TV later, one chick going topless on her boyfriends shoulders had a hell of a set up front and side by each bout 5 grand worth.
Apparently Justin Timberlake got booed and people were chucking bottles at him. (not just on the stage, at his head) Poor guy. He was a real sport about it when interviewed later, but it sucks that people acted like that. He came out later and performed with the Stones.
Hell of a lot of seniors in the crowd. I know the Stones have old fans, but I can't believe they came out for this show.
So I just wish I had made it out earlier to get closer. Some people camped out for a day and a half or something like that.

where are you in the picture???
Starting at the stage, go out along the line of trailers. To the left of the line about halfway along you can see a couple of white spots that are the 'rocker' smiley guy.
While this looks like I was fairly close, I could hardly tell there were people on the stage. They had to be dressed in bright clothes or their guitar had to be a light colour to see them. The people at the back couldn't actually hear anything unless they went to a beer tent.

Yeah everone I talked to said they hurt the next day from standing so long.
But everyone said it was a great show.
I was in the city, but left before all the people showed up.
I like people. . but not that many!!
Everyone seemed to have a great time though.
and noone got dead, so . . .not so bad.
