Sad day for 9BASE3

As we speak, the flatbed is on the way to my house to get the FD and get it to Cali to it's new owner. He's a friend of mine, so it's not so bad... but its sad to think about. All the bullshit I went through with it, and I'll still miss it...
It leaves with a new Greddy T78 kit, and a fresh Petit 3mm streetport. Been up and down the street a few times and goddamn that thing is wicked.
Why'd I sell it? Well, I actually sold it like 2 years ago when I was in some financial trouble... but Dennis has been in Iraq forever and I've worked on it in the time being. Now I could afford two of them; go figure. I will have another in the future... just not sure when. Wife isn't fond of the idea seeing as how she got to ride in this one ONCE in the 5 years we've dated. I'm sure you remember me getting screwed out of a motor... dropping 30K in a shop that took me and my ******* for a ride (and others here...). You name it and it happened.
ANYWAY... just thought I'd post up here and let anyone in Cali know that if they see a mint red FD... it just might have once been mine. although, i'm sure there are hundreds out there.
I'll still hang... and will be lurking in the for sale section if one of you ******** needs money some day!

Yeah... original motor crapped at 65K. Rebuild crapped at about 19 miles due to **********ers re-using parts. 2nd rebuild crapped out at about 200 miles for unknown reason - but suspect incompetence, and I finally bout a motor from Petit Racing. Fired up first try and purrs like a kitten. Goddammit..
