I'm gonna say the G35.. I've driven it and the Torque down low really puts the honda to shame.. even though it does have a 1.5L advantage over the S2K... I'm 6'8 and I don't fit in S2Ks.. I've tried to drive them.. got in, drove it off the dealership lot to test drive it, pulled over on the side and traded my dad the drivers seat.. too cramped... The G35 however... Thats kush... It sounds just divine

Maybe I am naive, but in my opinion, a high compression ratio is not a substitute for displacement, etc.
Was that actually supposed to help your argument? It didnt work. The simple fact is that you cannot judge how a car drives simply by its torque number. That car feels much more lively that some other cars Ive driven with considerably more torque.

inanimate_object, while your example is valid, your reasoning is as ***-backwards as it can get. Striving for less torque because torque is a feature of big heavy cars is the stupidest thing Ive ever read. Speed comes in all weights, and is directly related to the hp to weight ratio. It is also related to the ratio of torque to weight, but gear ratios must be taking into account, so as not to skew the results.

I think you can predict certain things about a car from numbers, that's all I was doing. I'm not a test driver...and I've never driven either one of these cars.

Like I said, in my opinion the G35c is a much better car based on not just numbers, but also the tests I've seen and read about.

You don't have to try to rip someone a new one just because they have a different opinion than your own.

Im not attacking your opinion. I respect your right to not believe what I believe. Im attacking your idiotic assumptions. I read enough car mags, and have driven enough cars to realize that the writers for those same mags are not the end-all for the duscussion. Its nothing more than opinions(aside from the performance tests). While I respect their writing, I realize that I still need to drive a car myself to make a judgement. So if youll stop trying to pull things out of your *** that you read somewhere, and get out and drive some real cars, you might learn something useful.
