i think some people feel that rx7 club is corrupt. and affiliating yourself with a corrupt organization is not a smart plan for an up and coming business

Keith makes a good point.

RX7s are RX7s nomatter where I find them.

I think its silly to limit your resources for entertainment.

I dont see how rx7club has anything to do with this magazine.

It could just as easily be associated with nopistons if we had the seas of people that the rx7club zoo has. I love it here because we seem to attract the real rotor heads but sometimes you guys confuse me. I mean are you into cars or are you into conflict??

Maybe

I don't see how you can NOT see what rx7club has to do with the magazine, I think it's pretty clear in the staffing and the statements that have been made regarding who will be giving input for the magazine. It VERY clearly states that in the email that was sent out.

I think my previous post regarding the unity of this community pretty much sums it up.

That said, the only reason I got involved in this topic is because I was asked if th A) the post was ok and B) I don't want nopistons.com to become a billboard for the magazine with constant posts regarding it's release, availability, etc, etc... when and ALL other rotary engine community's were excluded from being a part of the magazine.

I said it before that I don't see why it has to be affiliated with any forum, you seem to have a problem admitting the affiliation when it's obvious by the statements made from the staff and the staff appointments itself.

Oh and on the same line of thought I personally never said I wouldn't buy the magazine. I'm not a big magazine guy, I read books with the exception of Cigar Aficianado, which is one big *** magazine I rarely read the car magazines except for the new model year one's that discuss up and coming models.

That said, as I posted in the mod forum prior to this post being made, there aren't going to be 100 RX Tuner posts on Nopistons.com unless they would liek to pay for advertising, had there not been such an affiliation with rx7club, you would probably see a banner on the forum just like the one I give to Rotary Revolution.

I appreciate that the RX Tuner owner has threw up some good replies and taken the time to address the issue.

Has this topic ran it's course yet?

I assume that the Rxtuner is associating itself with rx7club is becasue its the largest rotary forum. If you want to reach a large amount of people you go to the largest forum. Since they are associated with rx8club.com also it seems logical to use its sister site.

I have to agree with rxrotary2_7. I follow both forums and many of you are hypocrites for bashing that forum then going over there and using it sell parts and plan events. If you dont like it dont go there and please stop crying about it.

Why does it have to be associated with ANY forum?

Why can't it just be associated with rotary engines?

why does it *have* to? who knows. maybe there is money backing them. not saying there is because i have no idea. why does there have to be a question about it? why does Jeff gordon have to be associated with Dupont? why do other countries associate/side witht the United States of America?
