it wont be made, thats a '04-'08 body, they're changing to the "series 2" '09 body style later this year, if they were releasing a vert id be guessing it'd be in the '09 body style.
and BTW according to mazda the miata is still the only car they plan to have as a vert, we have enough poroblem's with the miata tops last thing we need is another leaky vert.

yeah.. they look sexy.. must require some good strengthening of the chassis since they rely alot on that top design for strength..
Actually, one of the big deals about the rx8 was that most of its structural reinforcement was on the floor and lower part of the sides. It was long rumored that this platform would be the basis for a convertible car because the bracing was already so well set up for not having a roof.
