I told my girlfriend that I'm trying to find all 1498 of the other AEs out there.
i found one on my way to work today. some guy like 40 years old. I was looking at him at the stop light and he didnt wanna look at me. I was just trying to tell him I love the car. He was prolly thinking I wanted to race him cause i was in my 88 TII and slowed down with him to stay at the light together.

Well I drove down there, and didn't see an AE. Traffic sucked though, so I may have missed it.

Thats cool. My brother is supposed to call me and give me better directions to where it is. I don't know if its near the road or not, so it could be in the back of a lot. My brother was pretty sure it was a 10th AE, but he didn't get a good look at it. I never thought it could just be a white TII, thats a possibility though.

That sucks! I hate hearing about people getting ripped off. I know I'll never order any parts from them.

But it is brand new, and should match the color of the car.

I called Covey's, and they wanted $65 for a used handle. So now $85 for a new one doesn't sound bad.[/quote]

My '86 had a new driver's side handle when Andy came and picked it up from me. I had to install it when the original handle broke. I'd ask him about it. You could just repaint it Crystal White.
