I'm going to say this as descretely as I can, so I can spare my friend, but I hope you get what I mean. A personal friend of mine, who also knows Jason personally, has talked to Jason about the forums and about his business. It was made clear that Jason had started the forums for the SOLE reason of soliciting his business. My friend has talked to Jason about the details of this. I've met Jason personally and he's definately a strange guy. He seems a bit stuck up, and I can assure you he doesn't give a crap about RX-7 enthusiasts. He owns a black FD, so I know he enjoys the cars, but you get my meaning. I can't say that he is entirely a bad guy, he has a wife and young child, and has invited me into his home, and he seems to be a very nice person, if not distant from his business. My roomate has also talked to him personally, and he pulls in around $80k (sales, not profit), from the business a month.



Everything I've stated is from what I'VE personally gathered from Jason. I don't think he's a bad guy, but I promise he doesn't care about RX-7s the way we do... he's just making a living with a great car. If you use anything I've said, I'd appreciate it if you didn't use my name (he still has a clutch of mine, and I'd rather not have to sue him ), or INFER anything about the sources I've given, as they are my friends.

Still sounds like capitalism to me...and I never said capitalism is the best idea either, but it's a good practice.

 

capitalism means there is a free market, anyone can buy or sell anything at anytime.
