Rx7 Piston Rings
#13
To whom it may concern,
I have a concern about a couple parts in your database that are available for the RX-7:
Piston Rings;
http://www.overnightautoparts.com/mazda-rx...ston-rings.html
and
Valves;
http://www.overnightautoparts.com/mazda-rx...aust-valve.html
These do not exist for a 1982-1984 Mazda RX-7 or for any RX-7 for that matter. It does not have "piston rings" the closest thing in a Wankle Rotary engine would be the rings on the sides of a rotor or the Apex Seals located at the tip of the rotor.
The Rotary also does not have valves, air and fuel is drawn into the combustion chamber using vaccuum pressure, exhaust is expelled using the same method.
Please remove these items and place a N/A symbol in their place or replace them with actual Mazda Parts that are rotary related at your earliest convienience.

Ok, so who's gona call them up and tell them we have rotaries not pistons?
Me "Hi Wayne my name is Jesse Gillespie I am with the Federal Truth in Advertising Commision I need to speak to you about your website"
Wayne "Yes sir, what website is that?"
"overnightautoparts.com"
"Whats the problem"
"Well I see here that you offer both piston rings and valves for Mazda's RX7"
"What year sir"
"Any year"
"Fuel injected or carburated"
"try an F.I. model"
"Yes sir we carry those"
"That is not possible as Mazda's RX7's do not have pistons, therefore cannot have piston rings or valves"
"No Pistons!"
"Yes Thats correct. The engines are rotary based and do not have reciprocating pistons"
"I will have someone look at that"
"Good I would hate to see litigation for false advertising brought against you over a silly mistake."
Give them a call its toll free (1-888-267-1845) and press option #2... Happy hunting
